8 Blockchain Startup Teams Selected to Compete at Sandcastle Invitational during Wyoming Blockchain Stampede September 22, 2019
Laramie, Wyoming - September 16th 2019 - Sandcastle Foundation, the leading international organization enabling public-private cooperation, multi-chain interoperability, and innovation announces 8 blockchain startup companies it has selected to compete in its North American qualifying tournament today during this week’s Wyoming Blockchain Stampede at the Marion Rochelle Gateway Center on September 22, 2019. The 7 teams below and one wildcard winner selected from the Wyohackathon challenge happening earlier in the weekend will compete for $25k worth of prizes sponsored by Green as well as a chance to receive a bid to the world finals Sandcastle Startups Challenge in Dubai Fall of 2020 to compete in parallel to the World’s Fair for a share of $500,000 worth of prizes and global recognition.
Sandcastle Foundation released the bracket below for this weekend’s single-elimination tournament and announces Open Index Protocol, Arcade Blockchain, Hyperfield, Chainrider, Flyion, Zooterra, EIR Systems, and a TBA Wildcard.

The Sandcastle Startups Challenge will be a head-to-head bracket-style venture challenge that begins in Mid-September 2019 and continues with stops in Auckland, New Zealand, Berlin Germany, Mexico City, and returns to Laramie next Fall before the finals in Dubai in parallel to the 2020 World Expo. Each qualifier will produce a series of winning bids who will enter the virtual round of 64 teams in Fall 2020 that battle through a proprietary online voting (crowd) system and Sandcastle judging committee. The 16 best teams from that pool will win an all-expense-paid trip to Dubai in November 2020 to compete in the Sandcastle Startups Challenge World Finals during the 2020 World Tokenomic Forum Annual Summit of members for a share of $500k in cash prizes and global recognition and experiences at the World’s Fair in Dubai.
